Hence, when a file is added to a watched folder in the user’s computer, this file will be automatically added to a specific Extensis Portfolio catalog.

Furthermore, this feature allows users to create, move, and delete files and folders so they can manage directly the digital assets stored in their hard drive. Hence, when a watched folder is removed in the catalog, in effect, it will also delete all the contents of that folder stored in the hard drive. This auto-sync feature of Extensis Portfolio eliminates the burden of transferring and uploading files and folders to organize them for editing and distribution.
