WhatsUp Gold is an on-premise network monitoring solution designed for IT enterprises and managed service providers (MSPs). The solution helps them to manage their IT infrastructure and network activities. It offers tools for discovering, visualizing and monitoring network devices, displaying connections between devices and monitoring network status. WhatsUp Gold can automatically discover devices within the network, including physical servers, VMware, data centers, Hyper-V and workstations, among others. The solution helps IT administrators to manage cross-device connections from a single map. Administrators can also monitor network traffic, enable or disable connected devices and generate performance reports via a personalized dashboard. WhatsUp Gold helps network administrators to manage network device configuration and change control processes. The Configuration Management module archives and audits network configurations and send alerts to admins upon setting change. It also ensures that devices comply with regulatory standards like SOX, PCI, HIPAA and FISMA. WhatsUp Gold offers a point-based license for a one-time fee that also includes support via email and phone.
