Trint is a cloud-based audio and video transcription tool which leverages artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, and natural language processing (NLP) to automatically transcribe audio from a range of file formats and generate an interactive, searchable, editable, and shareable transcript. Users can upload audio and video files in a range of formats into Trint, including MP3, MP4, M4A, WMA, AAC, AVI, WAV, and MOV, using the drag-and-drop uploader. Files are then transcribed using AI and automated speech recognition, with support for multiple English accents, including North American, British, and Australian English, and a variety of European languages including French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Italian, Russian, Polish, Finnish, Dutch, Danish, and Swedish. Trint produces an interactive transcript which users can edit as necessary. Transcribed text is directly linked to the source file, allowing users to search for individual words, click to listen to that section, and make corrections if required. Trint allows users to highlight quotes in multiple different colors, and automatically reports the exact length and time in the recording for each selection, which can be exported individually by users. Timecodes can be realigned so that transcripts match source recordings, and users can share transcripts with their colleagues via email, with support for read-only sharing. Trint also offers a native app for iPhone, allowing users to record audio through their smartphone, upload for immediate transcription, drop markers to note important points in recordings, and playback recent transcripts.
