About Noodle

Noodle is a hybrid social intranet solution that can either be deployed in the cloud or hosted on local servers. It is designed for communication, collaboration and sharing resources within teams. Noodle allows employees to create and customize a personalized profile with a picture and work description. The workflow feature can automate time-off requests, requests for management approval and rule setting for creating, editing and sharing documents. Noodle offers a built-in instant messenger that employees can use to chat with each other and collaborate in groups on common tasks. Users can also embed videos and photos in their messages. Users can create unlimited calendar entries and publish upcoming events. Calendars can be both private and shared based on users’ needs. Noodle’s photo album feature allows users to store and share company events or product photos. Noodle also helps with building shared document folders, conducting online meetings, creating custom electronic forms and distributing and assigning tasks through a task manager.

Single Sign-On (SSO) enables users to use one username/password for all of their connected applications. Our SSO feature extends the ability of your active directory’s single sign-on seamlessly, so that you don’t have another password to remember to log into your Noodle Intranet site.

Intranet Themes

The Noodle Theme section allows you to brand and customize the look of your Noodle site. Various options such as: the type of view, color coding, open Instant Messenger on login, colors, logos, backgrounds and more can be changed here. Instant Messenger (Chat)

Noodle’s built-in Instant Messenger application allows employees to chat with each other. Task Manager

The Task Manager application allows your team to create Kanban Style columns and tasks. Tasks are stored as drag and drop tiles underneath the columns. Customize columns to match your workflow and process. Keeping your team on track is easier than ever using the Report Options, allowing you to filter your tasks by: progress, assigned user, and upcoming due dates. From a team leader perspective you can now visualize your project workload and see who’s working on what in real time, all in one collaborative workspace.

Calendars

The Calendar application plays a key role in an effective intranet. Create unlimited calendars use them to publish upcoming company events. Each user within your intranet can also have a private calendar for personal or shared events. Departments can also have their own calendars, so that you can keep track of conferences, resources, webinars, and presentations. Events can repeat and notifications can be sent via email to the event participants. You can integrate your Noodle calendar with Microsoft Outlook calendar.
