Developed by NetherRealm Studios and published exclusively by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, the Mortal Kombat (PS3) Video Game is the ninth main instalment in the Mortal Kombat series. It is 2.5D fighting game using 3D graphics for an impressive game play. The player will be taking the role of Kratos and perform one-on-one fighting in a single two-dimensional fighting plane.
This video game has a new feature called the "super meter" that is easily chargeable during various actions performed in the game. The super meter charges to three levels and at the first level use it to enhance the character’s special attack. Use the super meter to interrupt a combo attack in the second level. You can use a special attack called the "X-ray move" at the third level.
This video game also has additional features such as a story mode, Fatality training mode, the Challenge Tower, tag team fighting and an online mode. You must tackle 300 specific challenges in the Challenge Tower mode and can earn currency rewards on completion. The challenges include Test Your Might, Test Your Sight, Test Your Strike, Test Your Luck and more.
