Fixd offers quick and easy scheduling of maintenance tasks based on pre-defined criteria and ensures that no scheduled task is missed by sending automatic notifications. Most of today’s CMMS solutions offer Mobile access and Fixd is no exception. Technicians can access the software from any device with an internet connection and a browser, using which they can add and update work orders from virtually anywhere. Android and iOS apps are also available for even more convenience.
Flexible Asset Hierarchy
The software allows easy assigning of work orders to an asset and quick approvals provide a continuous stream of work orders waiting for an approval. The flexible asset hierarchy enables to create any type or number of assets at any location, whether large of small. It allows capturing critical information, including serial numbers, model, warranty start date etc.
Cost Tracking Feature
The cost tracking feature works well to track work order data to show which parts perform better and where material and time costs are being incurred the most. All work can be tracked back to an individual asset, regardless of preventive maintenance or breakdowns. This means staff can view the full maintenance history of all the assets.
Efficient Management of Inventory
Fixd features live and up-to-date inventory usage and allows tracking all inventory usage through work orders, transfers b/w locations, purchases as well as stocktaking. It can also be integrated into the existing inventory management software for more efficient management of inventory. An additional layer of tracking is available after a user marks a material as a major component.

User access can be limited or enhanced via user account administration, while the software also populates each technician’s daily time sheet automatically. Users also have to option to add non-work-order time using a drag-and-drop interface, allowing management to see where the time is actually being spent.
